Unpaid insurance premiums can be checked on the National Health Insurance Corporation website. And you can also pay online.

Inquiry and payment of unpaid National Health Insurance premiums can be made through the ‘National Health Insurance Service website (PC)’.

First, go to the website of the National Health Insurance Corporation.
Click ‘Login’ in the top right corner.
The means to log in are simple authentication (KakaoTalk, Toss certificate, etc.) and joint or financial certificates.
After logging in, click ‘Personal Complaint’ in the ‘Civil Petition Here’ menu at the top of the main screen.
Then click ‘Pay Insurance’ on the left.
Check the history of non-payment of national health insurance. In my case, there is an unpaid amount of 357,460 won.
After selecting ‘Health Insurance’ as the type of insurance, click ‘Inquiry’ on the right. Then there are insurance premiums that can be paid like this. Select the monthly premium you would like to pay here.
※ You can categorize ‘unpaid amount’ and ‘regular amount’ through notice type. (A late payment fee will be incurred for the unpaid portion)
Scroll down to see the total amount due.
Then choose a payment method. Available payment methods are direct bank transfer, credit card payment, virtual account deposit, and internet giro site.
Please note that a payment agency fee will be charged when paying by card type. For credit cards, 0.8% of the payment amount, and for check cards, 0.5% of the payment amount.
I proceeded with ‘application for issuance of virtual account’ as the payment method in order not to pay the payment agency fee. Select the virtual account deposit bank and whether or not to receive AlimTalk.

If you checked the option to receive AlimTalk, you can check your virtual account information through KakaoTalk.
※ Virtual account payment is available from 07:30 to 23:30.

How to print insurance premium payment confirmation
Confirmation of payment of insurance premiums can be found on the website of the National Health Insurance Service > Certificate Issuance/Confirmation > Confirmation of Premium Payment.
If you click ‘Print’ on the right side, you can download a PDF file or print it out. If you press ‘Send Fax’, you can fax the insurance premium payment confirmation by entering the fax number.
